Working Conversations Episode 50:

Futurecasting: Predicting Your Amazing Future

“The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams.” -Eleanor Roosevelt

“The best way to predict the future is to create it.” – Abraham Lincoln

I deeply believe both of those quotes …

I could go on and on and cite many more quotes from notable people in the world about how we create the future.

The truth is, the success that you have experienced already in your life was predicated on something.

You have had visions, dreams – maybe night dreams, maybe lucid daydreams, in which you’ve shaped your future.

In fact, one of my mentors, Dr. Martha Beck, calls it “premembering”. Napoleon Hill calls it the power of auto-suggestion. While Jack Canfield conceptualizes it in the form of a vision board.

You can do this by accident… Or, you can do this on purpose. (Read until the end.)

In this episode, I’m talking about predicting your own future, or bringing something into existence that didn’t exist before.

I am also sharing some of my backstory you’ve never heard before, all the way back to when I was in high school! (Might be the most personal episode for me, and has such relevant applicability to your life!)

So listen here or wherever you get your podcasts. I wish you all the best in predicting and creating your amazing future.

STEP-BY-STEP GUIDE IN PREDICTING YOUR FUTURE ON PURPOSE:

  1. Write it down in the present tense, as if you’ve just accomplished it. Date it in the future.
  2. Read it regularly.
  3. Put some vivid visualization with it. Imagine yourself in the desired future state in high fidelity.
