What keeps you staying with your company – other than your salary?

Yes, wages still matter greatly, but if you’re a savvy employee you know that it isn’t the whole picture.

It’s not just the salary that keeps you going in your current role. I believe it’s the perks and benefits your organization offers. Or perhaps… the healthy relationships you build from utilizing those services.

If your company is like most large organizations, the offerings of the company’s employee well-being program have expanded. Adding online mental health services, emotional wellness programs, and even financial management programs has become commonplace over the past few years.

And if you are from the human resources sector, you know how valuable it is to have employee well-being programs and services to attract and retain talent in this tight labor market. Especially during the past couple of years where the world has drastically affected how and where we work.

In this episode, I take a deep dive into why employee well-being programs are important for both employees and employers. Yes, the ‘win-win situation’ everyone deserves.

While these programs are costly to run, if the return on investment is tracked, most programs come out to be cost-effective, as employees are able to remain healthy – physically, mentally, financially, etc. saving the company money. And oftentimes turnover is reduced.
