Working Conversations Episode 2:

Find an Extra Hour in Your Day, Every Day

“Productivity isn’t about being a workhorse. Keeping busy or burning the midnight oil… It’s more about priorities, planning, and fiercely protecting your time.” – Gary Keller

I couldn’t agree more!

People often asked me how I get so much done. They might think I’m a machine running 24/7 and someone who burns the midnight oil every night.

But here’s the thing, I don’t work 24/7. I just have plans and priorities on how I handle being a working mom, running my own business, a wife and a daughter and a sister, as well as caring for myself well.

Well, it hasn’t always been easy. Time management and productivity are a big challenges, especially when working from home.

In this episode, I’m going to peel back the curtain and share with you some of my best secrets — secrets that will unleash your personal productivity. These are tools you can use right after listening to this podcast.

You will also learn how to make the distinction between focus time (when you’re working on a project or in a meeting) and fragmented time, the time that’s unplanned or leftover when you finish something early.

I’ll show you how to harness that fragmented time to be more productive each day using my favorite tool. You’ll get an hour – and sometimes more — back in your day!

So, listen here or wherever you listen to podcasts. My challenge to you this week is to simply get started.

If you’re not already working from a schedule, start small. Start with a list of things to do in your fragmented time. And if you are already working from a schedule, up your game. Make a list of tasks for your fragmented time and watch your productivity soar.
