Women, Words and Work

Overview

This course examines the differences between men and women’s styles of communication in the workplace. Women will learn techniques, tips and best practices for getting their voices heard and communicating powerfully in the workplace.

Specifically, attendees will learn practical strategies for increasing their personal effectiveness at work. After examining different conversation styles that are enacted by men and women, participants will develop techniques to drive effective outcomes in all situations. A special area of focus will be placed on developing skills for building authority and influence when working across boundaries and organizational hierarchies.
