Janel Anderson offers a unique combination of communications expertise, technology management experience, facilitation and coaching skills. Her academic background grounds her in research-based consulting and coaching, her technical management experience equips her to interact easily in technical settings with senior managers and individual contributors and her experience facilitating and coaching adds practical interaction components into all aspects of her work. It's the intersection of these areas of expertise that creates a unique offering for her clients.

Janel holds a PhD in organizational communication from Purdue University. She is a business consultant and coach and former professor at both the University of Minnesota and the University of St. Thomas. She has held management positions in start up companies and large, global organizations including Thomson Reuters. She has held leadership positions in the field of User Experience Engineering and has worked on projects with over business units spanning four continents including a product launch in China, product migrations in Japan, Australia and New Zealand, and numerous products and projects across Europe and the United States.

Outside of work, Janel serves the urges of both taste and design as she reverse engineers recipes for dishes from her favorite restaurants.
